With the late 2011, google has started promoting Google+ more to beat it’s most powerful social networking rival, Facebook.
Facebook is just number networking site on the web, which is launched just 6 years ago. Google on the other hand, the biggest search engine rival has promised for an alternative.
Google in the past tried to beat the facebook with his alternative plans like Orkut, Google Buzz and Google Wave. However, all these 3 went to no use and Facebook even grew more strong. Let’s see what this new Google+ has to show up to the market.
Let’s see quickly what is the basic difference between Google+ and Facebook. On a whole, most of it features are same, however, there are few spotted difference between both which makes the gurus of networking think that it might take up some bite of the market.
1. Google Plus Circle: Google+ has a whole new concept of managing and sorting your friends. With Facebook, it become rather difficult. For example, you want to post your Saturday night out party photos, however just want to share with friends and not family then Google+ allows you for it. However, with facebook, it become rather difficult. Whatever, you post goes directly to all your friends. So, a Kudos to Google+ for this.
2. Google Plus Hangout: Recently Facebook introduced video chat feature, however, Google plus hangout is video chat with groups, which makes it more powerful then facebook. You can have group chat with around 10 people at a time. Whoever speaks get focused automatically.
3. Google Plus Huddle: Unlike Facebook Chat, which do not have any application for Mobiles, Google Plus Huddle support Android mobiles. Also, group chat is possible with number of friends on the go. Also, they have Gtalk as a desktop application.
4. Google+ Location: Google plus give you power to share your location with a click of your mouse with your friends. On facebook, this is not possible directly also it is limited to some countries.
5. Google Spark: Google sparks searches for the most interesting content related to a seached topic. Google Sparks used to be a feature on Google+ Homepage, however, they now integrated it with the search feature of Google plus.
These are some of the differences between Google+ and facebook. I don’t know how long Google+ will lead to and how it will effect Facebook presence. However, one thing is for sure. The clash between this two giants will be most exciting to be seen.
