Google Reader
Google readeris one of the free service provided by Google. Google Reader is a Web-based aggregator, capable of reading Atom and RSS feeds online or offline. It was released by Google on October 7, 2005 through Google Labs.
Google Reader features are:
Drag and drop: You can drag and drop the feed directly to your google reader.
Received and published date: You can check the publish date of particular post through your Google reader of any article you subscribe to.
Show Feed details: You can check the number of post published by the subscribed blog per week and the subscribers count.
Keep as unread: You can keep a particular post as unread, which can read later and you can even filter the post by unread or read messages.
Add a note: You can add small note to the post so that you can prioritize the post or even can share with using buttons below each post.
You can even add Google Reader to your iGoogle Front Page.
In order, to add subscription in Google Reader follow this simple steps:
1. Log on to http://www.google.com/reader and login with your gmail username and password.
2. Click on ‘Add a subscription’, and enter the URL to which you want to subscribe, for ex: reviewcity.net , and click Add.

You can share and even like the subscribe content in Google reader. In order, to share your subscibe content with other who follows you click on ‘Shared Items’ on the left side and then click on ‘Share’ below the post you can want to share.

You can even add tags, write comments, add star and email to your friends directly from your Google Reader.
Google Reader ID can be found by login to your Google reader account and then clicking on ‘Sharing settings’ in the left pane.

And then scroll down of the page where you will find the profile ID for Google Reader under Choose a Custom URL.
